WTF?

The epitome of the Internet's favorite acronym occured during the New York Knicks/Phoenix Suns pregame on the MSG Network.

Apparently, Shaquille O'Neal is a big kid. A seven-foot-one, 325-pound kid with a ridiculous amount of toys, gold and cash. Here's the proof (it may be on a HD television, but these aren't HD pictures).

So, let's observe this: that's a custom made Freightliner with the Superman logo adorning the grill and the inside. Several sub-woofers and a satellite dish (somewhat obstructed).

When one of the parking attendants at the US Airways Center greeted the center, his head came up to the lower rearview mirror. O'Neal himself could have flossed his teeth in the upper mirror.

I know that I'm supposed to be a serious sportswriter and all and I've seen athletes in their whips. Yet, this is just fascinating. Far better than a MetroCard, CharlieCard or riding the BART.

Come to think of it, it's Shaqtastic.

Say What?!?!: Earlier this evening, you may have briefly caught a post that was a rundown of last night's WWE Armageddon pay-per-view. While it wasn't my work (despite being a wrestling fan), somehow, it was posted on Scribe instead of another blog from the relative of a friend. Stuff happens. This also presents a nice plug for someone, doesn't it? So in addition to the work of a very good friend, JP Prag of 411mania.com, here's another link for you wrestling/'rasslin fans; Slammetie & Ropes Wrestleblog 20X9

yay for taking my suggestion... btw, my favorite word in that whole commercial...Shaqtus. Mostly because I'm picturing a cactus with his head on top, and maybe a sombrero like in Cinco de Mayo decorations.

whats up man....sticking with basketball, anyway we loyal readers can see a post about the BOSTON CELTICS current run at HISTORY(hopefully I didn't jinx them re tonight's ESPN match-up against HOTLANTA)...23-2 is pretty impressive and they look like their primed to RE-peat (both allen and rondo are better/more comfortable out there)...what do you think?

Amit, I have been very impressed with the Celtics so far, but especially with Rajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins. Apparently, the Internets are trying to come up with a good name for "the Other 2" (See here). You'll read a bit more soon.

Kerry, so long as Shaqtus doesn't ask how does his ass taste again, he can run with that name, too.

re: Shaq's ass

he really shouldn't be allowed near a mic without close supervision and a handler.
