Numbers

76: How many days (as of this late evening) of baseball being the king of all sports here in the States. In several cities, such as Seattle, Oakland, San Francisco, Denver, Baltimore and Kansas City, they are the most painful days of the year.

49: How many days (as of now) until the most politically-tinged and most intriguing Olympics in some time open in Beijing. You all know something's going DOWN!

.391: The lowest that Chipper Jones' batting average has been at any point so far this season (April 11 after his Atlanta Braves shut out the Washington Nationals). Ridiculous.

12: What will be the biggest focal point of the NFL training camps and preseason - Aaron Rodgers. He'll be good, Packers fans, just give him a fair shot.

225,000,000: What NASCAR is being sued for in a sexual harrassment/racial discrimination lawsuit. Um... ouch. One of the articles of note received a rather interesting mailbag.

40,000,000: What the Chicago Bears will give Tommie Harris over the next four years, making him the highest paid defensive tackle in NFL history. Was that actual cash or gas cards over that period of time?

39: Tuesday night on Causeway Street in Boston. A number Lakers fans won't ever forget... at least not until they win a title.

26: The percentage drop of primetime ratings without those very NBA Finals. For those who care.

1: Real, unadulterated, raw and funny a** celebration.

.250 The actual lowest that Chipper Jones' batting average has been this season.

.300 The second lowest.

Games in March still count.

Aaron, you got me. Thanks for that! I almost forgot that the season officially started at the very end of March.
