For those of you who caught HBO's excellent documentary, "Assault in the Ring", there are plenty of words that could describe your reactions to the aftermath of 1983 Luis Resto/Billy Collins, Jr. bout.
Disgust.
Bewilderment.
Anger.
Confusion.
For those of you who have not had the chance to check out the film, catch the replays and remember this word:
Brutal.
Here's a clip from the movie. Let me just say that when a sports topic is given the HBO treatment, it's worth viewing, whether you are into the game itself or not. HBO could make a flick about any single or group of fights in its extensive archives. Yet, what stuck out to me about "Assault" was that the premium channel took a chance on something outside of its reach by picking up the Eric Drath documentary.
